Introducing the da Vinci Robotic Surgical System at Magnolia Regional Health System
The da Vinci Xi is a minimally invasive, sophisticated robotic surgical system that offers fewer complications, faster recovery, and less pain for patients, by making smaller incisions.
MRHC’s new da Vinci system isn’t a robot that operates. Instead, it enables surgeons to perform complex minimally invasive procedures with unparalleled precision.
The da Vinci allows the surgeon to sit at a console and view the patient’s anatomy on a high-definition monitor. The surgeon maneuvers hand controls at the console, and those movements are translated in real time to surgical instruments within the patient’s body. This gives the surgeon more flexibility and dexterity, which creates a better surgical experience for the patient and the doctor.
