Dr. Seger Morris Recognized As Emerging Leader

Dr. Seger Morris, DO, MBA, FACOI, FACP, CPHQ, Internal Medicine Physician at Magnolia Regional Health Center (MRHC), was recently recognized as an American Osteopathic Foundation James M. Lally, DO, Emerging Leader.
The award, which is named after Dr. Lally and his exemplary leadership, generous spirit, and unquestionable integrity, is given in his name to honor an outstanding osteopathic physician, less than five years in practice, whose accomplishments and actions have been instrumental in motivating and inspiring others for the betterment of the osteopathic profession and public health.
This year, the program expanded in partnership with state affiliate societies to nominate a leader from each state, naming Dr. Morris as the State Emerging Leader from Mississippi. Each of the recipients, nominated by their state association, are leaders who inspire those around them. Their collaborative actions are having a profound impact on the osteopathic medical profession and their tireless pursuit of excellence is enhancing public health and wellness. Dr. Morris serves in a variety of roles at MRHC including Executive Director at Magnolia Regional Community Care Clinic; Associate Clinical Professor of Internal Medicine; Medical Director, Clinical Documentation Management Program; and Clinical Quality Officer. Dr. Morris is also the acting president of the Mississippi Osteopathic Medical Association.
