Respiratory Care
Diagnostic and Pulmonary Therapy
The Respiratory Care Department offers both diagnostic and pulmonary therapy procedures. Our staff is a group of professionals with registered respiratory therapists, providing comprehensive cardiopulmonary services to diagnose and improve patients cardiopulmonary status 24 hours a day, seven days a week. These services are provided on the order of physicians.
Full Service
We have a full service Pulmonary Function lab with state-of-the-art equipment that provides diagnostic procedures including: PFT's, Nutritional Studies, and Exercise Studies. We offer Pulmonary Rehabilitation with education in dealing with different Pulmonary Diseases. The newest offering of the Respiratory Care department is Polosomnography. Within the department we have two complete sleep diagnostic rooms.
Treatment
For the treatment of pulmonary disorders, we provide all modalities of respiratory care which include, but are not limited to: Aerosolized Medications, Chest Physiotherapy, Oxygen Therapy, Patient Transport, Advanced Cardiac Life Support Procedure, and Ventilator Management. | |
